The Many Adventures of Shawn and Scott: Scott and Shawn on Airports
The Many Adventures of Shawn and Scott: Scott and Shawn on Airports: FUN FACT: If you were to spell out all of the numbers individually, you wouldn't come upon the letter "A" until you reach the number 1,000....
Scott and Shawn on Airports
FUN FACT:
If you were to spell out all of the numbers individually, you wouldn't come upon the letter "A" until you reach the number 1,000. ISN'T THAT NUTS?????????? (Thank you Annie Hoj for that incredible fun fact!)
Howdy y'all,
We were apart during christmas break for a few days so we figured we should fill you in our breaks real quick: Hawaii was excellent for Scott. The water was warm, the sun bronzed his skin, and best of all, there was more pineapple than his stomach could ever handle in a life time. Shawn's break was filled with two-a-day swimming and long lonely nights quietly counting down the hours until Scott flew in on New Years Eve at 10:15 A.M. (Shawn actually did pre-occupy himself with family and friends, funny enough). Before we get started on our rant on airports, Shawn recommends the Song "New Low" by Middle Class Rut, it is truly a great song.
So Scott, while he was probably in an airport, hopped on the blog and wrote this huge spiel on how much he hates them, the following are his thoughts on airports:
"There are all sorts of very strange people there that always look at you funny, even though they are the ones who are odd. People always seem to stare longer than necessary due to the fact they know they will never see you again, so why not linger on them a little longer? I won't even go into the funky smells of the airport because it would take too long, and I don't want to relive bad memories. Secondly, the seats on the planes are shaped in such a way that it is impossible to be comfortable even if you have the seat reclined. Boeing should definitely do some research concerning the dimensions of their seats because I know they could make bank if they would fix their seats."
Shawn seconds everything Scott says, and would like to add this bullet list of annoying/funny things he has seen at airports:
- Man in a suit wearing a....cowboy hat
- A Best-Buy Vending Machine
- Weird Artwork that no one ever wants to see, so it gets dumped in an airport.
-Example: That freaking ugly horse that is in front of the Denver Airport.

Yes, This is Real, and there is a rather Interesting Story Behind it.
- There is a Cinnabon in EVERY AIRPORT, this actually isn't annoying at all, or even weird, but yummy. :)
While the list goes on a bit longer, We don't want to bore you with all of the details, so with that we will leave you all once again! Stay true to yourselves, thanks for reading, and for whoever is interested, Shawn and Scott are now forming a coalition for the imminent end of the world via zombie outbreak that is coming this December. We Basically just need a lot of guns, a personal gas station, natural resources, etc. etc.

The Christmas Card and Seasons Greetings
We would like to thank you all from the bottom of our full-size hearts for reading our posts.
But we knew you would anyways, they are awesome, funny, even a little attractive in a weird way.....ya, we just went there. Anyways, enjoy one of the many pictures we took for Christmas. The first one is a treat for the dedicated followers of our blog.

Scott (left) and Shawn (Right) showing true Christmas Spirit
We also made a christmas card. It is pretty awesome, and Chuck Norris approved it for this blog, like he approved World of Warcraft (shameless product placement right there. On another note, Shawn is really sick of seeing that commercial on ESPN whenever he watches sportscenter).
So here is the Christmas card, and we hope from the bottom of our hearts you all have a memorable christmas 2011.
(The Message on the card reads as follows)
Beloved Friends,
We wish warm feelings and happy thoughts
to be with you during this holiday season.
Be true to Yourselves,
Love Shawn and Scott

Our Pet Peeves
Here is a brief list of pet peeves and the code names that accompany them. This happens to us far too often so it would be very much appreciated if someone else could help us out.
1.) When someone says they are going to hang out with you and then they bail, or flake out to leave you hanging out to dry. Codename: Frosted Flakeout
2.) When you know someone is only with you because of your social status due to the fact it looks cool to be with you. They leave you once someone cooler shows up (happens too often).
Codename: Bandwagon
3.) The classic act when you are into someone for the single purpose of making another person jealous. It is great when you are pulling it, but sucks if it happens to you even if you see it coming.
Codename: Benedict Arnold
4.) When everyone knows someone farted, but nobody will claim it even if it was a good one.
Codename: The Frenchmen
5.) When a girl just wants to make out with you ALL THE TIME or just can't let go of you. Sure it's great, but a person has other interests, like talking.
Codename: Excessive Passion
6.) When a cashier thinks you're flirting with them when you jokingly ask for a "diet water," I mean, come on, you honestly think we'd go for a cashier when we're on a date?
Codename: Splash of Reality
6.5.) When someone says "like" and "um" a lot when they talk. Come on man! We all know grammar, especially if you are classy enough to read and find this blog funny, but we is not dumb persons!!!!!!
Codename: 14-Year Old Girl
7.) When someone quotes the same YouTube video over and over and over and over. We've all seen the "Lakers Champions" video on the internet, there is no need to remind us of those lost minutes of our lives.
Codename: That YouTube Guy/Girl
8.) Another YouTube peeve, when people start looking up YouTube videos for hours and hours on a perfectly fine night. We love YouTube, but never for more than 30 minutes or Less.
Codename: "We Might as Well see a movie guys"
9.) When you are standing in a line at a store and the person in front of you is the person who decides to:
- Yell at the Cashier
- Take forever to pay because their coupon is expired
- Flatulate
- Tell you their life story (which is only interesting 1% of the time)
Codename: E.T. (excessive talker)
10.) When people tell us their pet peeves. We don't care what peeves you, and if you're dumb enough to tell us, we'll start doing it all the time. HA!
Codename: Don't-be-so-naive-oh-wait-now-people-will-start-doing-all-these-things-to-us-dang-it!!!
*Also on a side note, we have international viewers!!!! We don't know why in the world someone from Russia or Columbia us looking at our blog (that's a lie, it is because we are two handsome men), but that is so sick! We are absolutely stoked.*

Life's a Happy Song
The Muppets Movie is definitely worth seeing. We have never been so gipper in our lives. We can now travel by map, and we spontaneously break into song. We highly highly recommend downloading "Life's a Happy Song" and seeing the entire movie while you're at it.
Concerning Thanksgiving: Jake Gisseman Claims to have eaten 4.6 lbs of food. We would like to formally congratulate him on this feat. It is definitely impressive. We would also like to add that the next day Scott weighed himself at noon, and by 8 he had gained 5.3 lbs. Sorry Jake.
We have decided that there are three different levels of food when you go out to eat.
Level 1- the lowest level. This indicates fast food, so any food that you can be eating in under 5 minutes and on the fly. Don't get us wrong, this is one of our favorites, but it is still level 1. This includes restaurants like McDonald's, Wendy's, Molcasalsa (yummy), Subway, Travis' House, etc. This food is easy on your pocket and your wallet.
Level 2- A step up, but nothing special. These restaurants take a little longer in preparation but are still rather speedy. This genre of dining is probably our favorite because we are kinda cheap and by kinda I mean really cheap. Venues that fall under this category are Noodles and Co., Cafe Rio, Rubios, Panda Express, Zupas (for the ladies), etc. Still light on the wallet but much more substantial.
Level 3-too expensive. These are the restaurants you go to if someone else is paying or if you like someone a lot, but really if someone else is paying because it's too freakin' expensive. This is like Melting Pot, Flemming's, Olive Garden, and Mandarin. Too expensive, avoid at almost all costs (haha scott made a pun!!!!!)
Sorry for information overload, but it needed to happen. We got your back like a butt crack.
